Cracking the Anatomy Code

How would it feel if Anatomy was

clear and easy to remember?

Navigating injuries can feel overwhelming at first.

The body is already complicated *before* it starts rebelling.

Anatomy should be accessible and applicable to movement so you can get on with knowing how to teach safely and with confidence.

What should be happening in action and alignment isn't a matter of opinion.

The body's design has all the answers.

Rather than memorize every injury, or worse, feel paralyzed by them, there are a few straightforward principles about how the body moves that can make the whole process MUCH more comfortable.

I'm going to teach you the eight Movement Principles and how to apply them to teach safely.

No more overwhelm, we're going to dive into exactly what you need to know about alignment and injuries.

You'll be ready to apply this information RIGHT AWAY.

If you're ready for more knowledge and training, I'm here to help. Everyone wins that way.

What You'll Learn in this 6-WEEK / 15 CE Course

Functional Mechanics

How to use the body's design and muscle identification to teach movement, and how it will change the way you instruct asana (and make it easier).

Visual

Assessment

How to train your eye to see what's off, what's optimal and where potential for injury might be hiding - and why this skill informs so much of what to cue and where to help.

Optimal

Alignment

Why alignment is far less complicated than you may have been led to believe. You'll discover surprisingly simple ways to assess optimal alignment, and how to cue it, in every pose.

Implement

& Retention

Integrate what you've learned with real-time teaching and practice. Then return to class for feedback, and the opportunity to solidify the material for good this time.

Navigate

Injuries

What is universal to every injury, and what you need to know to confidently navigate them while keeping your students safe - even in a full class.

Anatomy

Principles

How applying the eight anatomy principles of movement to each asana informs and clarifies what to instruct, and simplifies the process across all asanas,

SO WHAT makes me so UNIQUE to teach you all of this?

Hi, I'm Gina

I have a passion for two things in life: functional mechanics so that people experience moving pain free and my boxer mix, Rumi. When Rumi and I aren’t exploring a magical forest, I'm helping clients alleviate pain, heal from injuries, and optimize their movement patterns.

Most of what I understand about movement, joint action, fascia, muscle engagement, bio mechanics, and orthopaedic restrictions and injuries, I learned in school and clinical practice.

It turns out, it all applies to yoga, too.

Countless hours of my career have been spent teaching clients the most optimal way to move their body so that every yoga practice would be accessible and safe for them

It's the winning combination of more than 10k hours of clinical experience and three decades of training that prepares me to share this awesome information with you.

FAQ's

question_answer

What if I can't make all the training sessions Live, will they be recorded?

It's best to show up Live. That said, recordings of each session will be available during the course should you need them.

question_answer

How do I redeem the bonus?

Easy! Take a selfie video of you teaching, your students (only with their permission first), or your personal practice and share the video with me via email/Dropbox/Google Drive. I'll offer feedback based on your question and what I see. The video doesn't have to be fancy, just clear as if I were in the room with you.

question_answer

Will we be practicing asana during the training sessions?

Kinesthetic learning will be part of the course, meaning we'll be moving and exploring functional mechanics in our own body. However, with only 75 minute training sessions, there will not be time for an entire practice.

question_answer

Is the course different from the training sessions?

The course is the total of the 15 CEs.

The CEs are broken up into equal parts / training sessions over six weeks.

question_answer

Why are the class sessions at specific times instead of recorded?

I was shocked to learn that more than 80% of pre-recorded online learning courses are never completed by the people who pay to take them. This course is designed to crush those statistics and give you the best opportunity to learn and ask questions along the way.
